I hope this question hasn't been answered before, but I couldn't find anything the like, so I'm gonna ask away: I recently bought a Mad Catz R.A.T. I have 30 days to decide if I like this mouse. Increased the speed of the side scroll and is much better now. The side scroll is not as smooth as the R.A.T. However, there are several reviews online that say you can use this mouse with the supplied cable and that is not true. Just bought the MX Master and is working fabulously. It checks all my required boxes, but I really don't need the battery or BT. Currently looking at the Logitech MX Master.

I bought the R.A.T 5 because it was the cheapest wired mouse with forward/back buttons and a dedicated side scroll wheel (very handy in Logic plus it looks funky. We still cannot provide an exact release date for those drivers.

Our colleagues at the software department are doing the best they can to provide drivers for the latest versions of the Mac OS as soon as possible. Please be advised that our products are not supported by newer version of Mac OS then 10.10.
I sent a support ticket to MadCatz explaining my problem and they replied with: Using the 10.9 drivers, my mouse worked for about a day but now the editor crashes every time on launch. The drivers for all their mice (with the exception of the R.A.T TE which is 10.10) on the MadCatz site have not been updated since 10.9.
